ㅤintroduction :ㅤ Thank you for your intrest in my ffxiv character, please read my rules before reaching out to me to inquire about roleplaying.This card serves as a character biography for my own personal stories and as a roleplay introductory card.

A disciplined and traditional man who values order. Outwardly polite and composed, he keeps others at a careful distance and reveals little of himself. Kugane and his destined path has not always treated him kindly, leaving him guarded and slow to trust. There is something quietly unusual about him, an unfamiliar stillness, as if he does not quite belong. Cynical and strict, he is quietly protective of the few he allows close.

Red Ribbon

A red ribbon, gifted from his mother's fishing staff, it was her last known gift to him. He now wears it in his hair every day. The deep hue of red a reminder of his home and protection that was granted onto him.

Pouch of water

A small water pouch he uses in emergencies when his aether pool runs low and he needs to pull ambient aether.

Azurite necklace

A delicately crafted Azurite necklace made by a friend of Zansetsu, it is infused with the water from the Ruby Sea which is what keeps him at ease while away from the sea. He wears it when out, typically tucked under his top.

Red notebook

A small beat up red notebook containing Zansetsu's thoughts and small bits of things he wishes to remember. He typically keeps this notebook at home, but there are occurrences where he does bring it out.

♱ “Just a cup of tea.”

Karma works for his grandparents' tea house almost daily. He makes sweets and tea with an eye to detail. “The Jade Dragon” Is open to all with an old styled charm and warming atmosphere.

♱ "Seeking Solace"

If you are a Raen from Sui-no-Sato, Karma would happily entertain conversation of his former home that he loved so dearly.

♱ "Uhm- Excuse me?"

Karma keeps a careful watch over Kugane and knows its streets well. Time spent along rooftops and shadowed alleyways has taught him the city's hidden paths. If you need guidance through the city or are searching for something a little more… concealed, he may be willing to help.

♱ " Deep Tied Seal"

Those with spiritual perception may notice a carefully placed seal buried deep within Karma’s aether, guarding a memory that does not seem to belong to him alone.

Ask- “I saw you in Sui-no-Sato.”

After an unfortunate event- Zansetsu felt drawn to go to Sui-no-Sato. His place of origin. Some witnessed him come back. But not the same. He was banished from ever coming back after this event

Ask- "Something in the sea"

Karma wears a glamour. Very rarely does it break or show. But in particular situations and times. it does. He can mostly be seen in his form when in or near the sea. Those who have been gifted with connecting with the dead or who have Yokai influence will notice.

Takahashi-Alive

Zansetsu's grandfather, he is the man who raised him since his arrival to Kugane. He is a man Zansetsu respects and keeps close contact with, mostly privately. His grandfather refuses to speak to anyone but his family.

Awa - Alive

Zansetsu's familiar and closest bond. birthed from a bubble and a little aether, Zansetsu brought life to this happy and wobbly fish. it curiously approaches anyone and loves to play with other small animals. Awa also brings great aid to Zansetsu in battle & life, Helping him with his aether control.

Makoro -Alive

An older woman who has known Zansetsu since first coming to Kugane. A friend of his grandparents, she frequents the teahouse and always seems to be eavesdropping and talking of stories of her eventful youth, She pesters Zansetsu in a way a family member would.

Ito -Alive

An old work "friend" Zansetsu made when he was a younger adult. He cannot stand him.

Omoikane -Unknown

Zansetsu's father, A man that was protective of zansetsu and only wanted what was best for him.

Koyuki -unknown

Zansetsu's mother. A woman who taught him most of what he knows when it comes to aether manipulation. Zansetsu recalls her as a intelligent woman with a sense of spirituality. He can remember her telling him how much she wished she could see snow.

Haruka Alive

Zansetsu's childhood friend who was present in his mother’s class. he can remember collecting seashells with her and wandering their village. He just misses seeing her time and time again, paths crossing but never meeting

Nagisa =deceased

A kojin shaman that aided zansetsu in training his aether to flow in a tame way with the tides. A close friend of zansetsu’s parents who was around for majority of zansetsu’s childhood

I'm in the PST timezone and often busy with work, traveling to visit my partner, or caring for my animals. so my availability can be varied. That said, I'm usually around in the evenings and happy to RP then! I'm a little shy when it comes to walk-ups or joining group RP on my own, so if you're checking out my Carrd, I'd really appreciate a tell to break the ice and set something up! I’d love if you let me know directly that you’d like to RP, I’m not great at picking up subtle hints, so being straightforward really helps me understand you’re reaching out to collab! If I don’t reply or seem to vanish, it’s almost always because I got distracted or busy, not because I’m ignoring you. A gentle poke or second message is completely okay with me.
 
I have had Karma for quite some time now and love putting him in various situations and seeing him grow. Thank you for taking a look at my character carrd!
